Eastman Kodak makes some incredible Black and White films since 1885. i got much more grain, of course – ISO400 opp ISO100. So, i did it again – this time i developed Kodak Portra 400 in R09 One Shot (Rodinal ?). and more then this – i was happy to see that the moments and places taken to this Ektar in black and white looked more interesting due this chemical conversation. To my surprise I got excellent results – every single frame turned out very crispy and contrasty. you can call this “experimentation process”, but i was sure that i’m confidently going to lose some frames with the moment of life, and i already forget what was exposed to the frames of this film and i always do feel that the loosing of taken moments is absolutely crime. Some of you probably remember i finished this once – i developed Kodak Ektar 100 C-41 film in B&W chemistry.     Lastly different film stock retain colour differently. I have also read that if you chemistry is a little off (time/temp/age/other) it can affect the colour. Sometimes it is due to the white balance the photo was shot in as I find colour film much more sensitive to WB so if shoot on the green lawn the faces are green (etc). some negatives seems to scan perfectly (colours), others are way off.
